Rear Spoiler Extension for VW MK7 / MK7.5 GTI, R, and GTD

This is NOT a universal product, but rather a handcrafted one that fits the Volkswagen MK7/MK7.5 GTI, Golf R, and GTD models accurately and specifically. Isn't that a refreshing statement? The days of "universal" parts that deliver lackluster results are over. This product DOES NOT fit the standard Golf TSI or TDI models.

INSTALLATION GUIDE

The first step is to gather all the necessary tools, including a socket set, torque wrench, and electrical tape. Ensure you have a clean and well-lit workspace to work in.

Begin by removing the front bumper. This will provide access to the necessary components. Disconnect the fog light connectors and remove the bolts holding the bumper in place. Gently pull the bumper away from the vehicle, taking care not to damage any surrounding parts.

Next, locate the factory intercooler and remove it. Disconnect the hoses and unscrew the mounting bolts. Lift the intercooler out of the engine bay.

Now, it's time to install the new intercooler. Carefully position the new unit in place, ensuring it aligns correctly with the mounting points. Secure the intercooler using the provided hardware and reconnect the hoses.

With the intercooler in place, turn your attention to the front bumper. Reattach the fog light connectors and position the bumper back onto the vehicle. Secure the bumper using the bolts you removed earlier, taking care to tighten them evenly.

Once the bumper is reinstalled, double-check all connections and ensure everything is properly secured. Use electrical tape to secure any loose hoses or wires, preventing them from interfering with moving parts.

Finally, take the vehicle for a test drive, monitoring for any unusual sounds or performance issues. If everything checks out, congratulations! You have successfully installed your new, handcrafted intercooler.
